Green Czar-Communist?

Anthony Van Jones is Obama's new Green Czar.  While cabinet secretaries must be approved by Congress, there is apparently no such oversight for the position of Czar.  This Czar would have been unlikely to pass Congressional review since Mr. Van Jones is an admitted Marxist-Leninist-Maoist.  

$18 million has been approved to overhaul the STIMULUSWATCH.ORG website.  This is the government site that was supposed to provide transparency in regard to how the stimulus money was being spent.  The government won't release data as to how the money for the site is being used...so much for transparency!

Attack the Person, Not the Issue

Have you ever noticed that the liberal media and politicians rarely discuss the actual issues? Rather, they use rhetoric designed to evoke emotion, and when challenged as to the basis of their positions, they typically use ad hominem arguments to discredit an opponent.

If you object to illegal immigration, you are a racist.  If you oppose abortion, you are against women's rights.  If you are in favor of traditional marriage, you are a homophobic.

A liberal sees no need to discuss the law as it applies to our borders.  Liberals see abortion and same-sex marriage as a 'right'.  If its a right, there is no need to discuss why it should be permitted.  

That is why there has been should a concerted attack on Sarah Palin.  She doesn't talk like a Washington liberal.  She actually discusses issues such as energy and smaller government.  That makes liberals very nervous.  Between now and 2012, the liberals will do everything possible to continue to discredit and destroy this woman and anyone who supports her.

 

Global Warming

World leaders convene at the G-8 summit to discuss climate change.  Relying on junk science and politics as usual, the end result is a 'non-binding' agreement to reduce carbon emissions.  A non-binding agreement, and that actually makes the news?

Apply that principle to any other issue.  Perhaps a wedding ceremony that results in a non-binding agreement?  There is no marriage and the ceremony would be a sham.  Just like the G-8 summit.

Once again, liberal insanity prevails and the press reports this activity as legitimate news.

Sarah Palin & Maureen Dowd

Calling Sarah Palin Caribou Barbie reveals so much about Maureen Dowd's insecurities.  Governor Palin, being an attractive, intelligent woman with conservative values, achieved the highest office in her state, and she challenges the NOW manifesto.   Had Ms. Palin been unattractive and an abortion advocate, liberal woman like Ms. Dowd would have embraced her.  Liberal feminism is profoundly threatened by a successful woman like Sarah Palin.  She is a woman who does not subscribe to Planned Parenthood's view of the world.

Ms. Dowd actually took the time to create a sarcastic mock diary because Ms. Palin doesn't live the elitist lifestyle she has come to revere.  How sad that Ms. Dowd wakes up each morning actually believing that her mean-spirited, silly opinions matter.  Exactly what has Maureen Dowd accomplished that makes a difference?  Ask her to try writing a column on that one.
